It’s so nice to meet you
I am glad you are here. In a world where it’s far too easy to feel dehydrated, depleted or burned out, we aim to serve as a resource and guide for you to discover living life to its fullest.
Hi, I’m Sheena, Founder of WELL. I once lived a pressurized existence: surviving off of caffeine, no sleep, and an over-scheduled day. I spent too much of my time living with anxiety and suffered from tension-based illnesses such as stress headaches, a racing heartbeat, and sleep deprivation. I pushed myself to the extremes and then set up camp there.
Then, one day, I sat in my car crying while my cell phone buzzed endlessly. I hadn’t eaten a single thing; I hadn’t slept; I hadn’t paused for a single moment in months. Something was wrong. I was not WELL.
In 2014, I founded WELL because I knew I couldn’t be alone in these feelings. The first face-to-face workshops were held at my home where we sat in a circle on the floor and worked through discovering our core values. Connecting with other wellness-oriented minds and hearts provided a safe place for me to re-design my life from my core values.
In 2017, I sold my possessions to travel the world on a sailboat. I re-defined success and didn’t base the definition on profits or even a 40-hour work week. Success, for me, is living a life that feels good. Success is moving away from feeling malnourished, parched or starving in your personal or professional lives. It means leaving behind the victim/blame mentality and personally-neglectful habits. It means identifying your fears and leaving a brittle, barren life of isolation into healing, abundance and balance.
In 2019, I packed my possessions into my car and headed to the mountains.
I overcame myself, the sufferer; I carried my own ashes to the mountains; I invented a brighter flame for myself.
- Friedrich Nietzsche

It means cultivating a reactive internal life, an inner landscape of beauty that anchors and nourishes you.
